The Town of Richmond's Recreation Department offers a wide variety of activities open to residents in the Towns of Richmond, Bristol and Canadice. We also provide young adults in the community with opportunities for part time employment as recreation assistants. For further information, contact the Richmond Recreation Department at 330.7066.



Summer Activities:    


Adult softball leagues run during summer months. For more information, contact the Recreation Department.


American Red Cross Swim Lessons for ages 2 & up. Classes taught by certified American Red Cross lifeguards.

Afterschool classes run June 10-21; sign up by May 31, 2019.


Weekly Field Trips during the month of July for ages 5-13 years old. A cost of $15 to $30 applies to some trips to cover admission and bus service.

Pre-register by June 24, 2019.

Activity Days at the Bristol Town Park are held weekly during the month of July. Workshops include basketball, lacrosse and a water science project; participants can also enjoy basketball, kick ball, soccer, tennis and time on the playground. If the weather is inclement, there will be arts and crafts in the pavilion.

NEW! Richmond Summer Rec Programs at Sandy Bottom Park during the month of July include Mini Basketball Camp, Mini Cheer Camp, Sports at the Beach, a giant slip and slide, movie day and more!

Summer Recreation Forms are available at the bottom of this page. Completed forms can be left in the Recreation Department mailbox at the Richmond Town Hall, submitted to Mrs. Hoertz at the HCS Elementary Office, or mailed to P.O. Box 145, Honeoye, NY 14471. Deadline for advance submission is June 24th, 2019. (Forms may be turned in on the day of the event for participants who are not yet pre-registered.)
