Part Time Municipal Bookkeeper

Description:

The Town of Richmond has an opening for a Part Time Municipal Bookkeeper. Accounting and Human Resource background required; compensation based on experience, education and ability.

Major Duties:

  • Preparation of Financial Statements/Municipal Accounting
  • Payroll and All Human Resource Functions, Requirements of the County, State and Federal Governments
  • Monthly Supervisors Report
  • Reconcile Bank Accounts
  • File Municipal Annual Update Audit
  • Manage Employee NY State Retirement and Medical Benefits
Qualifications / Education:

Required:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Human Resource Experience or Two-year Degree in Related Field
  • Basic Accounting Experience or a Two-year Degree in Related Field
