In Fall 2017, the Town of Richmond partnered with archeological firm Heritage Preservation & Interpretation to complete a cultural resource survey on the former 3M property as a preparatory step for a longer-term plan for use and development.
This site has been identified as a historic encampment site for Native Americans, and multiple artifacts were found during the survey process. See below to view and download a full copy of the Phase IB Cultural Resource Investigation.
